South of Heaven West of Hell: Normal Western plot line of redemption pits marshal Yoakam in a battle against his old outlaw gang, led by Bible-toting patriarch Askew. Cast includes Dwight Yoakam, Vince Vaughn, Billy Bob Thornton, Bridget Fonda, Peter Fonda, Paul Reubens, Bud Cort, Bo Hopkins, Matt Clark, Noble Willingham, Scott Wilson, Luke Askew, Michael Jeter, Joe Ely, and Warren Zevon. Addams Family Values: The Addams family is back again with all the ghouls in force. This time a beautiful woman plans to marry cousin ‘It’ to swindle him out of his money. Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd, Joan Cusack, and Christina Ricci star. (1993 comedy directed by Barry Sonnenfeld)
Heartland Reggae: Shoddy documentary of ‘78 show remembering a visit to Jamaica by Haile Selassie. The music makes it worth watching. Cast includes Bob Marley and the Wailers, Peter Tosh, and Althea and Donna. (87 minutes,’80)
Mystery Alaska: Remote Alaskan town’s hockey team is given the possibility to play the N.Y. Rangers as a publicity stunt. There is a hodgepodge cast of characters and an unavoidable big game finale. Crowe is the only one to ascend above the material. Cast includes Russell Crowe, Burt Reynolds, Hank Azaria, Mary McCormack, Lolita Davidovich, Mike Myers, and Little Richard. (118 minutes,’99)
Stage Fright: Theater student Wyman turns covert sleuth because an actress’ spouse is killed. There are some stimulating scenes however the Mr. Hitchcock misses on this one. Cast includes Marlene Dietrich, Jane Wyman, Richard Todd, Kay Walsh, Aastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, Sybil Thorndike, and Patricia Hitchcock. (110 minutes,’50)
Dracula’s Daughter: A Spanish language adaptation of the terror classic was filmed simultaneously with the Hollywood rendition on the identical sets although much of the orchestrating and camerawork are actually better in this Spaniosh version! Other chief variance: the ladies are outfitted more provocatively. All that’s missing is a performer with the appeal of Lugosi in the lead role. Cast includes Carlos Villar Villarias, Lupita Tovar, Pablo Alvarez Rubio, Barry Norton, Eduardo Arozamena, Carmen Guerrero, and Manuel Arbo. (103 minutes,’31)
Only the Strong: An Ex-Green Beret, his old Miami high school friend now bullied by a drug lord, turns twelve of the joint’s worst criminals into crime-busters by teaching them a hypnotic, Brazilian form of martial arts. They will now settle the score. Dopey however inoffensive; at its best in potently choreographed fight scenes. Cast includes Mark Dacascos, Stacey Travis, Geoffrey Lewis, Paco Christian Prieto, Todd Susman, Jeffrey and Anderson Gunter. (96 minutes,’93)

I’m frightened that the Pit bull requirements a special type of proprietor…these pet dogs, regardless of how ‘tender’ nevertheless have teeth, are nevertheless animals without having moral ideas and if they DO bite, won’t allow go. As in all animals…some often be far more suseptable to instinctual behavior and time and time again, this breed tends to try and do just that.
