Marisol Carey It wasn’t that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Let’s look at what you might find to watch using a movie download site.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King: The capital of Gondor is under attack, and the battle for Middle Earth is on. Sauron, the dark one, is gaining power, and his victory seems certain. Frodo, and his lifelong friend Sam are battling their way to Mount Doom in order to destroy the One Ring, the ring that give Sauron his great power. Hiroshima Mon Amour: Resnais first film is a considerate, difficult research of a French film actress Riva and Japanese designer Okada, each with a tough past, who have a coincidental event in postwar Hiroshima. Cast includes Emmanuele Riva, Eiji Okada, Stella Dassas, Pierre Barbaud, and Bernard Fresson. (91 minutes,’59)
Bed Book and Candle: A John Van Druten play turns into so-so platform to showcase Novak as a sorceress who charms soon to be married Manhattan publisher Stewart. Kovacs and Gingold show off their comedic capabilities. Cast includes James Stewart, Kim Novak, Jack Lemmon, Janice Rule, Ernie Kovacs, Hermione Gingold, and Elsa Lanchester. (103 minutes,’58)
Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band: Try to link melodies from The Beatles’ classic album into some kind of tale line just doesn’t work; patterns range from reasonable to humiliating. As to The Bee Gees performing ability, well let’s just say that they are not the Beatles. Cast includes Peter Frampton, The Bee Gees, George Bums, Sandy Farina, and Steve Martin. (111 minutes,’78)
Meet The Spartans: This is an outrageous spoof of the epic movie 300. Wearing leather underwear and capes,- Spartans will take on the Persian army. The Spartans will have to battle the like of: Ghost Rider, Rocky, Paris Hilton, and many more.
Lunch Wagon Girls: Ball turns investigator in this melodrama and confronts weird characters and harrowing experiences while tracking a killer. This film is excellent, with a top cast. Cast includes Lucille Ball, Charles Coburn, Alan Mowbray, Cedric Hardwicke, Boris Karloff, and George Zucco. (95 minutes,’68)
The Delinquents: Intriguingly terrible exploitation drama in regards to a fine boy who becomes tied up in a street gang since lady friend is too young to go steady. Cast includes Tom Laughlin, Peter Miller, Richard Bakalyan, Rosemary Howard, and Helene Hawley. (75 minutes,’57)
Deep Impact: With a comet on a collision course for Earth. A decision is made to send a space ship out to intercept the comet, and “seed” it with nuclear bombs. The explosion splits the comet in two, with the smaller part still heading toward Earth. With a devastating impact looming, it is learned that 1 million Americans will be chosen by lottery to go underground into a network of caves built to survive the impact, and the following sequence of disasters.
Bean: Mr. Bean is a funny character played by genius comedian Rowan Atkinson. Being the caretaker of the Royal National Gallery, Bean is asked to take the famed Whistlers Mother painting to LA. This trip proves to be an incredible adventure for Mr. Bean.
