Let Anne Geddes’ Babies Frolic on Your Personal Checks

Babies in costume are adorable. That is the general concept behind the famous photographs of Anne Geddes. The endearing babies that appear in Anne Geddes’ products frolic and pose in costumes that resemble butterflies, bears, ladybugs, and flowers. You would have to be in a pretty bad mood to look at her pictures and not at least crack a little smile. Her images have appeared in a variety of products, and now you can even have them on your personal bank checks.

Now making her home in New Zealand, Anne Geddes is originally from Australia. She is a businesswoman and clothing designer as well as a photographer. Anne works with her husband in her business and has a hand in everything from creation to marketing. Her photographs have shown up all over the world and on products ranging from posters to mouse pads.

Anne Geddes begin taking photographs and experimenting with style in her mid-twenties. She is completely self-taught and has had no formal photography training. Her particular style these days depicts babies, generally in costume, blending in with unique settings, like a garden or field of flowers. Have Some Fun with Garfield Personal Checks

Like Garfield, do you dread Monday mornings? Does taking out your checkbook give you anxiety? Well, if you’re a fan of the lovable, and sometimes surly, big orange cat then carrying Garfield checks will always give you a smile when you take out that checkbook. Plus, it’s not as expensive as you might think, not thanks to the Internet.

Garfield is a comic strip that was created by Jim Davis in 1978. It chronicles the life and adventures of Garfield, his owner Jon, and Odie, Jon’s dog. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it is also the world’s most syndicated comic strip.

Garfield’s abhorrence of Monday mornings, his laziness, his obsessive love of eating, and his distaste of diets are some of the common themes that can be found within the comic strips. Both children and adults are able to enjoy the humor, somewhat due to the fact that the storylines are not political in nature and instead center on the daily humor that life can bring.

Jon is the owner of Garfield and Odie. He is generally portrayed as being somewhat geeky, although good hearted. Jon’s inability to find a date is an on-running joke, as are his eccentric habits such as stamp collecting and measuring his toenails. The University of Alabama’s athletic teams are called the Crimson Tide. The school participates in the Southeastern Conference in the Western Division of the NCAA’s Division I. Its two main facilities on campus are the–,600 seat Coleman Coliseum and its 92,000 seat Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The University of Tennessee and Auburn University are Alabama’s main rivals. In fact, the annual Alabama-Auburn game is even referred to as the “Iron Bowl.” The nickname “Crimson Tide” began during the’07 Iron Bowl. After a well fought game, Auburn, which was favored to win, had to accept a tie with Alabama. Coca Cola is truly an American tradition. You just can’t beat sitting back with an ice cold Coca Cola on a hot summer day and what about those Coca Cola polar bears in the Christmas commercials in the wintertime? Coca Cola is one of the few products that is not just great tasting, but also inspires sentimentality since it has been passed down through the generations.
