Laptops are becoming more and more popular as they replace the standard desktop computer. Falling prices and technological improvements will make laptop sales outrank desktop sales for the first time in 2008. 1. Notebook Computer Lock: A notebook computer lock works similar to a bicycle lock. You attach one end of the lock to your laptop and warp the cord around a fixed piece of furniture. All laptops provide a slot for notebook computer locks. One of the most common is the Kensington slot. In most cases it is located at the side of your laptop and marked with a small lock sign.
