Overheating Laptop? It’s More Serious Than You Think
December 10th, 2009 Gregg Housh Excessive heat is an enemy of delicate electronic components. Desktops have the advantage of plenty of space for a variety of fans. This makes the dissipation of heat so much easier. However, it is a great deal more difficult when you are dealing with a laptop. There are very few ways to control the temperature of your laptop.
For some reason, laptops are typically built with intake or outtake ventilation on the bottom. If these vents become covered up with pillows, cushions or even your legs, they will not be able to draw heat away from the interior and the laptop will begin to overheat. The unfortunate thing is that this means laptop fans will not be able to circulate air when resting in your lap. While a little excessive heat every once in a while won’t instantly permanently damage your computer, it will damage the internal components as time goes on.
Some laptop overheating issues aren’t caused by obstructed vents, although it is a very common cause. Running your laptop in a very hot environment can sometimes cause internal heating issues. It’s wise not to operate your laptop on a hot surface such as a metal table in the sun or next to a hot stove. Keeping laptops off hot surfaces and away from heat sources are two easy ways to reduce overheating caused by environmental issues.

If they cannot express themselves in a notebook and be typing on a computer they feel useless. They dream of being published and getting to the public what they feel they need to say. They see a future as a writer no matter how many rejection letters they get.
Don’t worry about the rejection. They say there are ten “no’s” to every “yes” so look forward to getting the “no” out of the way so you can get a “yes”. Keep plugging away at your regular job while you get your writing in and your work out there. Don’t give up and persevere. All authors who do it full time now had regular jobs once in their lifetime and they had the same dreams you do now. They didn’t give up and kept plugging away.
Don’t let your ‘real’ job keep you from writing. Make time to write even if it is the wee hours of the night or early in the morning. Get something on paper no matter what. Even if it is fifteen minutes on your lunch hour you are writing. It’s really easy to make excuses but stop it and get to writing.
