Our opinion is this is selling you short – yes you’ll have qualified, but knowing about the others will give you a distinct advantage in your working life, where knowledge of all four will be necessary. Its part of the reason you have a slow computer, well actually it’s a small part of the reason your computer runs slow. Your computer runs slow because of all of the junk that builds up on it, but Windows has tuned its operating system to look good so that it will have user appeal.

If you tune it down, you will get a small performance boost. This is especially true if you are a Windows Vista user (Vista has a lot of unnecessary programs that run in the back ground that are designed to just make the operating system look nice. By disabling them you will get a small performance boost). If your curious about this, here’s how to do it:

If you are using Windows XP, click Start, right click on My Computer and select Properties. Select the Advanced tab and where it says “Performance”, click on the Settings button. In the Visual Effects tab select Adjust For Best Performance. What you are doing here is making Windows XP look more like Windows 98. If you would like your computer to look somewhat good and still be tuned for performance, select the Custom box, make sure that all of the other boxes are checked off, scroll down to the bottom and select “Use Visual Styles On Windows And Buttons”. Want To Make Your Slow Computer A Bit Faster? Try This Out.

If you want to make your slow computer faster, then tuning your virtual memory would be a great place to start. You see, your hard drive is that place that your computer stores files like videos, picture etc… Your RAM on the other hand is the place that your computer’s programs work in. Its basically like a temporary working area. It’s a great system, but when your RAM gets full your computer has two choices: it can either tell you that you cannot open any more programs or it can find a new place to be used as the temporary working place. This is where virtual memory comes into play. Virutal memory is space on your computers hard drive that will be used the same way that your computer uses RAM

The name for this space on your hard drive is called a Paging File and is what you need to “tune” if you want to make your slow computer a bit faster. Your paging file is designed to be two different sizes that it moves in between: the Initial Size and the Maximum Size. Since these two sizes are constantly changing it causes your paging file to work inefficiently. Man has always had an affinity towards entertainment gadgets like the television ever since its invention. Television sets play a major role in every person that a home is never complete without one.

You may notice that children turn on the television right after waking up and grown up rely on the television to put them to bed.

The invention of cable has further revolutionized the contribution of television in our daily lives. Cable TV has opened us up to the world of nonstop quality shows regardless of the time of the day.

The only setback? Cable fees are expensive and they come in every month. A subscription could mean contributing a huge chunk to household expenses.

I was confounded with this dilemma when I was browsing through the internet and I found the Satellite TV to PC.
