The 2010 FIFA World Cup is finally just a stones throw away, and it is shaping up to be one of the best competitions to date. The reality is, a lot of teams are going to have their work cut out to try and get a trophy, mainly due to the fact that five teams have now won the Cup on multiple occasions. Brazil is known to be a strong force in any World Cup, consistently finishing in the top percentage of qualifiers and winning on various occasions. In fact, Brazil are the team with the most overall victories, with 1958 being the first year they ever won. Comedy Shows and The Family

Without a doubt, the television is one of the greatest advancements in technology. Most people these days cannot live without a TV; it has indeed become more of a necessity, especially among the younger generation. It has to be made clear, though, that despite its many benefits, the TV comes without risks as there are quite a lot of TV shows that are not exactly child-friendly. It therefore becomes of utmost importance for the parents to keep a close watch of their children especially when it comes to TV watching.

Media exposures have a strong negative and positive influence on children. Media can shape a kid’s attitude in a positive way by emphasizing cooperation, tolerance, respect, and other socially constructive behavior. On the other hand, negative effects include violence, initiation to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, obesity, and early exposure to sexual behavior.

It would be nice to watch TV as a family. Pick out a particular day of the week as “TV watching with the entire family” day. Then make sure that you are gathered together on that day. Encourage your kid to choose the shows the whole family will love to watch on that day.  Read more...

Meet The Leader Of The Decepticons – Transformers Megatron

If you keep yourself informed and into the latest box office blockbusters, then you are no stranger to the Transformers series of movies that have been released. While there are only two installments, you can be assured of more to come in the future. You might not know that these movies were preceded by comics, books and a few animated series. There are many Transformers that you could benefit from knowing in terms of understanding the movies better. Other than Optimus Prime, perhaps the most important to know is the Transformers Megatron.

For the sake of this article, however, I will stick to the finer points of Megatron. This is a hugely important name to know in terms of learning what there is to know about the Transformers.

A lot like the Autobots led by Optimus Prime, Megatron represents a really mighty and valued leader. Through the line of numerous comics and installments, it became apparent that Megatron was the most efficient and revered boss that the Decepticons had ever had. Three Tips to Get Laid

Each day, people experience a lot of stress. Some experience stress at work. Others experience stress at home. Others are affected by traffic while others are stressed out because of problems that have piled up.

When people are stressed they resort to a lot of things to fight it. Some men drink alcohol to forget their woes. Others play sports to release negative thoughts and feelings. Still others get laid to divert their attention.

If you’re single, sex may not be an easy option. Finding a willing partner can be a challenge and can lead to more stress. There are ways to meet the right women and here are some tips.

You never know who you are going to meet, so make an effort to always look your best. Make sure your hair is trimmed and your fingernails are clean. Wear clothes that look good on you.

Can Danny Granger Lead the Indiana Pacers to the Playoffs?

The Indiana Pacers had a very mediocre season in 08′-09′ season finishing 36-46. The bright spot for the Pacers was their home record, 25 -26. The Pacers were terrible on the road, 11-30.

The Indiana Pacers’ Danny Granger had a breakout season, and put himself on the map as one of the best players in the NBA. Few people realize this, as the Indiana Pacers are a below average team that gets little coverage.

The 26 year old Granger made serious waves during his 4th season in the NBA. Always known to be a player with tremendous upside, Granger flirted with this potential during his first few seasons in the league. The 2008-2009 season, however, was a different story altogether.

Granger was a one man show in Indiana, single handedly responsible for many of the team’s 36 wins. His 25.8 points per game were the fifth highest in the NBA, and he was one of the only players in the league to average over one block and one steal per game.

Guard T.J. Ford had one of his best seasons to date with scoring 15 points per game and 5 assists. If the Pacers ever expect to compete in the same division as the Cleveland Cavaliers, their defense must improve and improve fast.  Read more...

How To Be A Ladies’ Man

Men can easily acquire the right traits to become a dating expert. Sadly, a lot of men fall victim to the humdrum of single life.

Instead of getting up and starting to search ways on how to become effective dating companions, they end up sulking in one corner and making more awful mistakes in getting to know women.

The Los Angeles Lakers Look to Repeat

The L.A. Lakers won another NBA championship in 09′. This proved to be extra special most will say for Kobe Bryant because this is first championship since 02′ – more importantly the first without Shaquille O’Neal.

Kobe Bryant proved that the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t need Shaquille O’Neal to win an NBA title. He did have the help of Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom (two big men), but they’re not Shaquille O’Neal in his prime.

Pau Gasol is the first second best player on any team in the league. On many teams Pau would be the best player on his team but not with the Lakers obviously. Pau has put up great numbers his entire NBA career but his toughness was questioned. Pau showed how tough he was in the playoffs averaging’ points per game and 8 rebounds per game.

Lamar Odom was – and maybe still is – one of the most inconsistent good players in the NBA. There are some games Odom was a top 5 player and other times you wouldn’t even notice him on the court.  Read more...
